Shkoder Water Supply and Sewerage Company (UK Shkoder) provides retail Water Supply and Sewerage Services to the Municipality of Shkoder, and the Villages of Bahçallek, Shiroke and Zogaj, and also provides water supply service only to some villages in the Commune of Rrethina, and to parts of the villages of Dobrac, Golem and Hot i Ri.

We are committed to delivering a high level of service and quality to the communities we serve.  The purpose of this web site is to provide information about our operations, investments and projects, our organizational structure, and, very importantly, customer service.  We think it is very important for our customers and stakeholders to easily find information about our organization and to give them the means to effectively interact with our various departments.

Public Communication/Education Program -  UK Shkoder has initiated a focused campaign to educate our customers on the importance of paying for water and sewerage services. The communication strategy aims to build a sustainable system of public relations and customer services across the UK Shkodra for the following reasons:

  • To protect the environment;
  • To promote a responsible use of drinking water;
  • To establish a culture of paying for drinking water;
  • To create a corporate culture of care and respect for the customers;

Infrastructure Investment -  UK Shkoder continues to invest in our infrastructure to keep up with demand now, and in the future. On March 2009, Shkoder Water Supply and Sewerage Company has negotiated to implement a major investment project co-funded by the German Development Bank (KfW), Austrian Government and Swiss Cooperation. The Project will improve the reliability of the water supply and shall protect the Lake Shkodra by improved sanitation services; and simultaneously the necessary capacities for a sustainable operation and management of the local water company UK.  more on Infrastructure Investment...
